Defending Recreation Access
The Summit Trail Project lawsuit on the Ochoco National Forest in Oregon—we have received Magistrate’s Findings and Recommendation released on August 27, that would set aside Summit Trail System Project, and are working on objections.
The Rico-West Dolores Travel Plan decision in Colorado—we are coordinating with Colorado partners and crystallizing a response to the Final ROD.
We also anticipate we will be engaged with Colorado partners on the Pike and San Isabel National Forests litigation challenging the existing travel management decisions in Colorado.
The Bi-State Grouse in Nevada-California – Attorney is reviewing recent ruling that vacated “not warranted” decision on listing and evaluate effect on pending legal action.

- Blue Mountain National Forests (Malheur, Umatilla, and Wallowa-Whitman National Forests) – Forest Plan revisions – prepared and submitted objections on August 28.
- Over-Snow Vehicle (OSV) travel plans on Tahoe, Lassen, Eldorado, Stanislaus and Plumas National Forests in California will be reviewing all and submitting objections.
