WASHINGTON – Comment Period Extended for the Colville Forest Draft Revised Forest Plan


The time frame to comment on the Colville National Forest draft revised Forest Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) has been extended by 45 days; the deadline for submitting comments is now July 5, 2016. The extension provides additional time for the public to review the documents and submit comments.

The draft forest plan and DEIS became available for review on February 19, 2016, for a minimum 90-day comment period. The initial 90-day comment period was to end on May 19, 2016, as identified in the Federal Register. Notice of the 45-day comment period extension was posted in the Federal Register on March 25, 2016.
